However, at one point, the prosecutor admitted that Rittenhouse was acting “to save his own skin,” appearing to admit that he believed himself to be in mortal danger — a belief that, if reasonable according to the jury, would result in his acquittal.

I have to admit, if you’d told me this would be Binger’s closing argument two weeks ago I’d have suggested you lay off the sauce.

That this has not all ready been dismissed is troubling to me.
This suggest to me the Jury will split the difference rather then returning a complete not guilty verdict. We have far too many “woke” scum on this jury who will ignore all fact to go with the social media propaganda

Prosecutor, leftoids: people like Rottenhouse are only allowed to defend themselves if we feel like allowing it, but those burning and looting may do so, if we deem it to be acceptable and appropriate.

Where is the defense to object?

“nothing to demonstrate to the crowd that he isn’t a threat to kill again,”
Running towards the safety of the police line was an eloquent demonstration of his intent to do no harm.

I agree. The mob did have a right to chase him. And Kyle had a right to kill them when they attacked!

Binger argued that Rittenhouse did “nothing to demonstrate to the crowd that he isn’t a threat to kill again,” saying he should have fired warning shots. Now I've heard it all... a prosecutor who says you SHOULD fire warning shots. Okay
To: conservative98
So when a mob sets things on fire and people like Rittenhouse try to put it out, Rittenhouse is chased and repeatedly attacked, bludgeoned, etc, and defends himself, the prosecutor basically says he shouldn’t have tried to put the fire out, blames his actions in fleeing and not Rosenbaums in attacking, and thinks he has only himself to blame. Twisted.

Rosenbaum was a violent psycho long before August 25
The whole world and every one around “provoked” him by simply existing

So one man was shot after clubbing Kyle with a skateboard. The other 2 that were shot just had guns pointed at him. Apparently Kyle should have just let himself be executed for the cause.

Prosecutor is nuts. The same argument can be used against police when dealing with criminals in mobs - the mob has the ‘Right’ to chase down a cop and kill him?

I hope every night, at least once a night, he has a dream with a large mob carrying skateboards chasing, chasing, chasing him, getting closer, and closer until finally he trips and the people in front start raising their skateboards at which time he wakes up in a cold sweat.
