David Axelrod calls Rittenhouse judge 'defense attorney on the bench'

Former chief advisor to President Obama David Axelrod took to Twitter on Monday to criticize the Wisconsin judge presiding in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, accusing him of being "a de facto defense attorney on the bench."

Axelrod slammed Judge Bruce Schroeder after the latter dismissed a misdemeanor charge against Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager facing murder charges for fatally shooting two protesters during unrest over police brutality last year in Kenosha, Wis.

He further praised Rittenhouse's luck and said "this kid has the great good fortune of a de facto defense attorney on the bench."

Most judges are advocates for the liberal side of a case. It’s unusual to get a balanced judge in a high-profile case. Se for example how the judges in the January 6 political prisoner cases are speaking out in court. That’s a tempered version of how they really feel.

Listening to the prosecutor’s closing argument is enough to cause projectile vomiting. I hope he loses his job and law license!

That’s a good sign, but juries are still chock-full of low functioning idiots so this case is a jump ball.

IMO, this man Axelrod never did have a lick of sense.

This is no surprise.

Something has to be terribly wrong if a Leftist’s view are
not universally adopted.

If the prosecution brought forth facts and evidence that proved
Rittenhouse guilty, the Judge would not interfere. When the
prosecution brings up things that are not accepted by law,
or are not pertinent to the charges, he will object.

That’s his job.

If the defense were making infractions, this judge would hold
them to the exact same rules.

That does not make him biased.

The prosecutors got screwed by their own witnesses while presenting their own case in chief. Which basically means they screwed themselves.

When that happens in a case, and the judge sees the weakness of the case brought against a defendant, they tend to get a bit testy with the prosecution/plaintiff.

That man needs to suffer punishment for that. He is undermining the judicial system when it doesn’t go his way. NO ONE should do that.

You are right, I started to listen but turned off to go back to work, with DVR running.

Here is his whole case: 17 year old, from out of state, after a curfew (which “reasonable people obeyed”) lied about being an EMT, provoked the [protestors] to attack him when he dropped a fire extinguisher and pointed his gun. I have a feeling given the average lack of intelligence of people who live in areas controlled by demonkkkraps, the jury will convict him of something because he is a white male with a gun.

Apparently Axeldoosh did not consider that the prosecution conceded that Kyle’s gun was not short barreled, a requirement to be charged under the statute.

Therefore, blame it on the judge. If you must listen to the media and people like Axel, the reality is the opposite of what they say.

Prosecutor trying to pull unethical shenanigans violate Kyle’s rights.

Judge admonishing prosecutor for his shenanigans and protecting Kyle’s rights.

I know this can be confusing, so let me see if I can help.

If it's the judge's fault that racist white Kyle doesn't serve time for the racial hate crime of surviving being attacked by by three whites ... you might be a Democrat. LOL
