Black Lives Matter leader Hawk Newsome said Saturday on Fox News Channel’s “Unfiltered” that riots are the oppressed lashing out before he stormed out of the interview after refusing to condemn violence.
When asked to condemn rioting, Newsome said, “As Dr. King said, riots are the voice of the unheard. It is a natural occurrence that people can continue to be oppressed. They will lash out. That’s it.”
He added, ‘The Boston Tea Party was a riot.”
Bongino responded, “Do you condemn riots and burning down buildings?”
Newsome said, “No. What I’ll say is, I understand when a police officer unjustifiably kills someone, why people lash out. I understand that completely. I’m not going to condemn, nor am I going to condone it.”
Bongino said, “Isn’t that cowardly? I’m not going to condemn it, but I’m not going to condone it, so I don’t want to take a stand?”
He continued, “You seem to talk a lot of junk and then when I put you on the spot you won’t answer a damn question. Do you condone violence or you condemn violence? You’re all over the place. Just condemn violence and burning of buildings down. How hard is it?”
Newsome asked, “OK, so when Osama bin Laden attacked the World Trade Center, did you say America should deal with it peacefully?”
Bongino said, “You’re not answering the question, man. That has nothing to do with people burning down businesses in New York City. You’re not gonna answer the question, Hawk.”
Newsome said, “I don’t condone it, I don’t promote it, but I will not condemn it.”
Bongino said, “Man, that’s just cowardly. That’s just cowardly.”
While removing his microphone and exiting the interview, Newsome said, “You’re trying to bait me.”
They just want more looting and destruction. People who think like thieves LOVE to loot.

“riots are socially destructive and self-defeating. I’m still convinced that nonviolence is the most potent weapon available to oppressed people in their struggle for freedom and justice. I feel that violence will only create more social problems than they will solve.”
He did answer the question:
He said “No” then meandered into his cowardly waffling.
“No” followed by extended equivocating is called “bullshitting”.

It wasn’t amazing...it was stupid. Typical Bongino interview. The kind of crap-fest that happens when hannity has him and Geraldo on at the same time. This kind of crap is getting old. The escalation/name calling at the end was all but a given. DB thinks this makes for good TV, but to elevate this marxist hominid by inviting him on the show was stupid, and doomed from the beginning.

No argument there. Hence my euphemism for your apt wording.
We can’t get ourselves worked up over any of these sort of shows. I like Bongino actually. He’s always on in the car when we transit to the VA for some reason.
It’s all about ratings, which translates to the almighty dollar. A topic of our interest being used for profit almost like the old wrestling “shows” at the Olympic for previous generations.

Newsome wants former gang members and incarcerated people to patrol the streets.
These people only want one side to protest and use violence.
When anyone else tries to protest (Jan 6) or oppose violence (Rittenhouse) they must be destroyed.
Thank you! I can not stand these people who twist statements to suit their own agenda.
That human is the reason we need the 2nd amendment, folks. Arm up because they demand the right to riot, loot and murder just to get what they want.

I am not defending BLM as I think they are a hate group. I am only pointing this out for accuracy's sake.
