Video has emerged of President Joe Biden's nominee to lead the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Saule Omarova, saying she wants oil and gas companies to go 'bankrupt.'
'We want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change, right?' the Soviet-born Omarova said in a clip that was shared online by the conservative-leaning American Accountability Foundation.
She made the comments in February when appearing at the Jain Family Institute's Social Wealth Seminar, where she was making the case for a National Investment Authority, which would pull resources from the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve to allocate public and private capital for green infrastructure projects.
The resurfaced clip could hinder Omarova's ability to get all 50 Democrats to support her nomination, as every Republican is expected to vote against the Cornell University law professor.

None of what we are seeing is due to stupidity or incompetence, although there is plenty of that in spades.
To the Leftists, that serves as a mask to throw people off the trail of the real, horrible, and depressing truth: The destruction of this Republic is fully intentional, and the impression (and reality) of stupidity and incompetence is part of the process.
People would see this quite differently (and act differently) if they suspected the truth that destruction is intentional as opposed to an unfortunate result of incompetent boobs getting elected in a fair election.

The left would have us all believe that oil is a ''fossil fuel, the left over remain of animals and vegetation and that it's use by We The People is causing irreparable harm to the environment and we're all being selfish with our ''privilege by driving cars, having heat and air conditioning and clean running water and we have to atone for this sin. The production of oil is an on going, never ending geological process that has nothing to do with dead dinosaurs and everything to do with the left turning us into Cuba.
