First lady Jill Biden and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy kicked off their campaign to encourage child coronavirus vaccinations Monday by visiting the first school to inoculate children against polio in McLean, Virginia.
The administration is pushing to get children ages 5-11 vaccinated. The Associated Press states that 28 million children are eligible for the shots now that the Pfizer vaccine was approved.

I’d rather the kids learn from a certain other first lady and just say NO! to drugs, especially experimental ones.
It’s more like Chicken Pox used to be. They’re crackpots and liars. They’ve decided that Covid vaccination is another political football to be played for all it’s worth.
The one big difference is that the Salk vaccine works all the time. People are not taking the Salk vaccine and are still dying from the disease likr they are doing with the Covid vaccines. And once vaccinated they are being told they can still spread the disease. There is a big difference between the Covid vaccines and the Salk vaccine. Same thing is true with small pox vaccination and the other diseases Biden cited.
Yeah exactly right except for the part about children actually prone to contracting polio if unvaccinated, and not prone to contracting Death Merchant Fauci’s Covid-19.

To the best go my knowledge, Polio does not have animal hosts. Corona viruses do. Therefore I believe it is impossible to “vaccinate” it out of existence.
Until it started giving people polio
Polio was far more severe and deadlier. Even in early Polio vaccines kids were given Polio from the vaccine at one point. Polio is a virus which attacks Myelin nerve sheathes. It can be very mild and even go undetected until later in life. Polio can also have a non contagious but loss of functions reoccurrence later in life. Covid 19 especially to kids no where near approaches Polio in deaths and disablement. I am not anti Covid vaccine and I took it. I did have side effects because I have Vestibular Damage. Looking at the numbers more kids are likely to be injured or killed by the trip to go get the vaccine than by COVID.
Wrong comparison......Nobody had to get a second shot for Polio...and nobody died or had serious complications from the polio shot. Further It was a vaccine not an experimental injection to see if it works or not.

Polio vaccine used a weaken vaccine and it conferred immunity.

The Salk polio vaccine was an inactivated whole polio virus. In one batch in 1955 Cutter Labs failed to properly cripple the virus and 200,000 doses of live virus were sent out.
40,000 cases of polio resulted from that bad batch of vaccine. 200 children were left with paralysis and 10 died.
Whole virus vaccines, which some here think are the only “real vaccines”, can be inherently dangerous, both from accidents like Cutter Labs, and because they can sometimes provoke ADE, antibody-dependent enhancement.
And COVID is not a childhood disease...
That’s right. Polio lacks an animal reservoir so it appears to have been eradicated by vaccination.
That won’t work with viruses that can pass back and forth between human and animal populations. Plus RNA viruses are very unstable and constantly form new variants. Covid/SARS is an RNA virus.

That “pre-2015 definition” isn’t accurate but it is very popular among people who never gave vaccines a minute of thought prior to Covid. Which is why it gets treated as gospel around here.
I’m old enough to remember polio as a thing that mainly attacked children, an alternate name for it was infantile paralysis. Pictures of kids in iron lungs were common. The March of Dimes had little contribution collectors in the shape of iron lungs. It killed kids every year. How many kids have died from Wuhan?
Anyway, I realize I’m not a ‘doctor’ like Mrs Biden but...
How many children have been infected by covid? lost the use of their legs, have to be placed in iron lungs, not respirators to survive? Now how many children have suffered serious to deadly heart inflammations and other serious side effects from not the Covid but the vaccine? No there is no rational comparison between Polio and Covid, but these are Bidens were talking about so there is nothing rational about any of them.
The vaccine cause debilitating illness or death.
The democrats are introducing a crippling vaccine.
Can I use that short but succinct explanation?
