Wrong comparison......Nobody had to get a second shot for Polio...and nobody died or had serious complications from the polio shot. Further It was a vaccine not an experimental injection to see if it works or not.

The Salk polio vaccine was an inactivated whole polio virus. In one batch in 1955 Cutter Labs failed to properly cripple the virus and 200,000 doses of live virus were sent out.
40,000 cases of polio resulted from that bad batch of vaccine. 200 children were left with paralysis and 10 died.
Whole virus vaccines, which some here think are the only “real vaccines”, can be inherently dangerous, both from accidents like Cutter Labs, and because they can sometimes provoke ADE, antibody-dependent enhancement.
