WASHINGTON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - A U.S. federal appeals court issued a stay Saturday freezing the Biden administration's efforts to require workers at U.S. companies with at least 100 employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly, citing "grave statutory and constitutional" issues with the rule.
The ruling from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit comes after numerous Republican-led states filed legal challenges against the new rule, which is set to take effect on Jan 4.

The fact that the temporary injunction was granted means the court believes that the plaintiffs (states) will likely succeed on the merits of the case, so that may encourage others Courts of Appeal to rule the same. For example, there is a case before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeal from FL, AL, and SC (maybe others).
IANAL, just a keen observer of this kind of thing for decades, and I believe this case, and others, WILL go to SCOTUS soon.

Would eliminating this overreach expose companies ordering the shot (its not a vaccine and we should stop calling it that) to greater liability? Maybe some of these corporations will stop acting like the enforcement arm of the tyrannical Biden regime.

General government has NO such authority. It CANNOT impose vaccine mandates nor can any of its agencies. Blatantly unconstitutional, flies in the face of federalism, the sovereign rights of an individuals free choice and also violates the Nuremberg code of WWII that dictates only VOLUNTARY consent of any human subject is absolutely essential when an experimental drug, vaccine or substance might be introduced into the body.
The COVID vaccines are ALL considered experimental and are without having been test by trial on voluntary subjects for a period of at least 10 years! Vaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement.
Unless these trials have been complete, ALL vaccines that have not yet been approved for distribution under the FDA trial protocols are considered EXPERIMENTAL!

Yeah, SCOTUS will let the appeal courts deal with it until COVID becomes negligible and the pill alternative more attractive, so the vaccine mandate will be pulled by Biden before SCOTUS actually has to rule.
