The Donald needs to be careful. This kind of language can cost him votes. The Trump doctrine is definitely a winner, but he needs to drop the words “me” and “mine” from his vocabulary.

“Virginia is a Blue State and Youngkin is a Romney RINO, so of course they like him.”

Why do you say he is a rino?

Not even close to being true.

If you look at the electoral map, Virginia is a red state turned blue by the heavily populated DC suburbs in the northeast part of the state.

Trump was a groundbreaker and he should get credit for that. These candidates obviously learned from him.

But they also learned from his mistakes, so they were organized, aggressive in laying the groundwork (getting thousands of volunteers to watch the polling places, for example), and optimistic and focused on the future in their messaging. Sometimes Trump made it too much about himself, and in a sense, you can’t do the full MAGA without being Trump himself.

I wish Trump would accept the praise and thanks of current candidates and devote himself to building a media empire. He could do it. Unlike the current WH occupant, while he’s getting older, he’s in full possession of his mental faculties and his personal charm. But the problem is that he always wants to relive the 2020 elections, and while he is absolutely right that they were stolen, that’s not the way to win any votes for the future.

And they were stolen with the complicity and even encouragement of the media, so if he could build a platform or a range of options for an honest media, he would be doing untold good for now and the future.

I agree, Mcawful had it up until a couple of weeks ago when he said parents shouldn’t have a say in their children’s education AND then he doubled down, AND then he tried to take it back. That’s exactly when the polls dramatically swung to Youngkin.

If it hadn’t been for Mcawful and the dims showing how much contempt they hold for Americans, Youngkin would have lost a squeaker.

Gotta give credit to Youngkin knowing how and when to use that Mcawful blooper. That’s something that Republicans can’t seem to do.

NOVa is a blue state
The rest…not so much
Trump was winning VA heavily until very late election night when votes were dumped in No VA

Yes, but those blue areas have a lot of people and are still part of the State.

West of 95 Virginia and East of 95 Virginia are two different States.

I have to disagree with DJT. MAGA certainly helped. But Younkin probably would not have won but for a confluence of events.

1. The bathroom rape in a Louden Cty public HS restroom.
2. The unforced error by tone-deaf former governor about “Parents shouldn’t tell School Boards how to educate their kids.”
3. Biden’s endless string of catastrophes.

MAGA is probably the fourth factor.

Trump is a super successful commercial real estate developer. If you’ve ever dealt with real estate developers, their egos are supernatural. Just sayin’. Love his policies and most of his philosophy, but man, that ego.

I wonder what Youngkin’s anti-vote fraud strategy was?

Maybe he had tons of poll watchers, swarming around like bees.
