Liberals and fools, while not known for being cultured, are known for their elitist self-ascribed superiority. They believe themselves to be superior, none more embracing of said reasoning than half-wit, dead-from-the-neck-up meatheads with a college degree. And they excel at revising factual history.
Such was a man who had nothing better to do than stick his nose into my business at the post office Friday past.
The attendant at the counter and I were talking about the enormous cost of postage – $21.75 for first-class mail for one book to Canada juxtaposed to a media rate of $3.19 within the U.S. The know-it-all who had been holding court on a number of different issues while waiting in line behind me took it upon himself to inform me how the mail system worked.
It was an error in ludicando, i.e., error in judgment, he would quickly come to regret. At first I was willing to ignore his intrusion, but then his blue-eyed-liberal, I'm-smarter-than-anyone-else-in-the-room attitude crossed the line. Annoyed, I quipped sardonically that it was easier for illegal aliens to get into America than it was for me to send a book into Canada legally. He took the bait, and the game was afoot, which brings me to the point of this column.

The sending of money out of the country should include a fee tax if you will equal to 10% of the amount being sent.

Technically, it isn't repetition. The word "leftist" is a modifier to the word "fool", which identified what KIND of fool one is dealing with. Other possible modifiers, to further classify the type of fool, are "Democrat", "Communist", and "School Board" (with apologies to Twain).
Well, Mychal did mention that slavery did play a part in construction of the country but no one batch of folks did it without help from other batches of folks.

Hmmmm. Wonder if said fidiot left his keys in his car? Does he leave his house unlocked stocked with all sorts of foreign food stuffs? You know taco shells, tortillas, refritos. Does he leave his garage open all night so they have a place to shelter? Does he actually take some in and support them? That’s my usual question to those that don’t have a problem with the new voters. Answer? Crickets............. Or “No, but.....”
As our country becomes more and more socialist, the minimum cost to have a person in the country rises. You need "free" food, housing, emergency hospital care, school for the niños, roads and a huge number other expenses the Dems add to every session of Congress. The labor new immigrants provide rarely add up to that amount, much less the taxes they pay. Thus most immigrants make the country poorer by coming here anymore.
Also the Dems like to cry about how the wages of unskilled workers have decreased relative to inflation without seeing that it is there immigration policy which is in large part doing it.
We are no longer in an era where anyone getting off the boat or sneaking across the border can get a job on a farm or factory and be a net positive to the country.
I always thought that “I don’t remember anyone asking for your opinion” would be a good retort.
