I mentioned this at the time, but I remember watching Trump’s speech during the RNC. Mike Pence was sitting with his wife, and she had a look of pure loathing on her face as she watched Trump speak. I doubt that this perceived Pence loathing of Trump was confined to Karen Pence only.

Constitution says the VP/Senate Pres. opens the envelopes containing the electoral ballots and hands them to the ‘tellers’. That’s it, that’s where his authority ends.
The tellers (2 members each from the House and Senate) count the votes.
Pence never had the authority to return ballots to states or overturn results. Congress as a whole had the authority to reject ballots, and they voted to accept the ballots.
Also, there were never any alternative or competing electoral ballots sent by the legislatures of any of the states, and if there were, it would have been up to Congress to vote to accept or reject them, not Pence).
So, it is easy to attack Pence. Enjoy yourselves. You are urinating into the wind.
