I thought townhall was reliably conservative? What is this liberal nanny-state article doing there?
Then let's get rid of the Demonicrat kakistocracy, inicluding the DeepStaters!!
Wait until they go after the fat people—the only problem is the jails won’t be big enough to handle all of them!
Singapore had a terrible drug problem years ago. They solved it easily.
1. If you use drugs you go to jail for a short and very unpleasant time. You do not want to be caned, it is brutal.
2. If you traffic or sell drugs, you will die.
It worked.
Perhaps this is their back door way to control troublesome supplements, herbal remedies, and horse paste problems.
To end harm to America, take horse whips to any Democrat is sight
Harm reduction is bs. They said that years ago to establish needle exchanges. Give them a dirty used needle and they gave you a new one. Now, the harm reduction folks don’t accept any used needles and instead of giving the addict one, they hand out cases of them.
Now citizens are used to seeing used needles everywhere the harm reduction zealots are pushing “safe injection sites” for junkies to go and have a nurse help them shoot up. Vancouver pols have just recently decided due to harm reduction protocols working so well, that the government not only provide needles and injection sites they’ve started giving government provided Heroin to the junkies because…wait for it…Harm Reduction.
Simple, institute a maximum of 2 capsules of heroin per day.

Go fornicate and expire.
A lot of it was caused by Purdue Pharma. Telling doctors that Oxy was had less than 1% addiction rate and it could not be abused. Doctors started proscribing it like crazy in some parts of the country for minor pains. Of course the whole 1% was a lie. They had front groups tout “studies”. They even convinced Dr that the withdrawal pain many were experiencing was really untreated pain and upped the dosages.
So the feds cracked down on the pill mills and oxy and the addicts predictably went to heroin.
