Too bad only 30% of black kids HAVE dads.
Spent 4 years in Ft Polk, and lived most of my childhood in East Texas right across the border. There were a whole lot of those crazy people across the border I would not mess with.
I politely disagree. They all have dads, very few have fathers. Those men are fathers and are taking that job seriously.
This has ALL to do with the schools being feminized and turned into liberal hell holes.
Our local swim team had a female coach who was in college but was not much older than some of the teem boys. The boys started giving her a hard time (boyish innuendo stuff). It was disrespectful to the coach and upsetting to the team.
I was the Pool Board Liaison to the team. They asked me to solve the problem. I said sure. I called Dads not Moms to get the problem solved. It was solved over night.
I’m glad to see this working. But it will end when one of the Dads touches any one of the kids. There are a dozen lawyers waiting in the wings for that to happen.
Sometimes force is the only way.
Sounds like it may have had a positive influence on the bully. The note was a nice touch, showed him he was picking on a really nice person.
Who knows it may have been the stabbing and note that stayed in his mind and started him on the road to a better life.
Under those circumstances an ice cream treat was called for!
This is excellent. Go Dads!
Just letting kids and teachers know you’re involved and that retribution is near at hand tends to keep things calm.
Good job dad!
They all have sperm donors. Both Father and Dad require at least some involvement in the lives of their baby mamas’ children.
In 1969-70 I taught in a school in Columbus GA near Fort Benning. Most of the kid’s Dads were officers at the base training soldiers for the Vietnam war. There was never ever a discipline problem. All I had to do was suggest to a student that we call in his Dad and instantly the problem was solved. Bless those Dads and bless these Louisiana Dads. This is what God meant Dads to be when he created families.
Sad statement on our society that this story is newsworthy. In my high school an ex-marine was the Vice Principal of Discipline and just the threat of a trip to his office kept most kids in line.
I bet the schools are requiring criminal background checks and fingerprinting. These days you have to be fully vetted to be on school grounds.
Dads beat jabs any day.
I would think so, too.
Our school had a high percentage of Marine families. Their kids were rarely a problem to begin with. When there was a problem, calling mom or dad at work fixed it, immediately and permanently.
