Last night Laura Ingraham quoted at length from her statement. Apart from the speciousness of her claims, I was struck by how well-written it was, rare in these days, especially (I'll say it) for a black person, who seem to revel in bad grammar and street language.

Maybe she missed her vocation and just wasn't cut out for science and should use her talents elsewhere - IF she can get past the self-pity that the education system crippled her with.

I can totally understand her distress and being unable to function that day.

I remember on 9/11 I was 1/2 asleep and hear the radio voice say something about a plane hitting a building in NY and then it kept getting worse and worse.

Although I went to work, I was in no shape to take on large challenges.

Her reaction is more a sign she was breaking under pressure than that her professors should drop everything and talk about a civil rights case.
