Last night Laura Ingraham quoted at length from her statement. Apart from the speciousness of her claims, I was struck by how well-written it was, rare in these days, especially (I'll say it) for a black person, who seem to revel in bad grammar and street language.
Maybe she missed her vocation and just wasn't cut out for science and should use her talents elsewhere - IF she can get past the self-pity that the education system crippled her with.

It's a prima facie example of purple prose. So florid and heavily-laden with metaphors as to incite laughter and ridicule, rather than serious consideration.
