For CNN, there's only one perspective on big government: bigger is better!
On New Day, the hosts and panelists could only see the positives of a $1.7 trillion spending bill, and could only hope for more.
The liberal media can't conceive that some Americans actually still believe in individual liberty and self-reliance, and reject cradle-to-grave government "help" [read, intrusion] into our lives.

Take the Orange pill
If Obama had done something to help people who were underwater with their mortgages and reformed student loan debt issues so more people could get mortgages, Trump wouldn’t have gotten elected. Fast-forward to the the Bidet Regime, and they still don’t do anything to help ordinary Americans. This all about rewarding the Dem machine that stole the election with RINO complicity. This is not a “New Deal” for anyone.
More like a “New Dilemma”
A good book by written when and on the idiocracy of Roosevelt’s new deal government failures, not hind sight just like now.
This will start a depression that will make 1929 look like a way in the park.
Is this the bill that “won’t cost anything” and yet they want to tax UNREALIZED capital gains?
Feel an inheritance tax looming?
non-breaking news
cartoon hair, tats, definitely a white upper middle class SJW with ZERO real life experience spouting off about economics and politics.
Even in lefty New England, the people who had Xiden signs or stickers have all taken them off several moths ago.
Somebody ought to be printing a sh!t-load of “Let’s Go Brandon!” bumper stickers, distributing them everywhere. I’d hate for the poor old man to feel neglected.
Same media that anointed Obama the new FDR
It's a great, very informative book. They should read it.
“Admirers of FDR credit his New Deal with restoring the American economy after the disastrous contraction of 1929—33. Truth to tell–as Powell demonstrates without a shadow of a doubt–the New Deal hampered recovery from the contraction, prolonged and added to unemployment, and set the stage for ever more intrusive and costly government. Powell’s analysis is thoroughly documented, relying on an impressive variety of popular and academic literature both contemporary and historical.” – Milton Friedman, Nobel Laureate, Hoover Institution
“And every last one of them has a few keys in their pockets.”
We don’t do juvenile things like that. But I do get the point.
We don’t. Somebody will, though. Maybe a lot worse. I’m opposed. They want us to misbehave. They want CWII. There are smarter ways to defeat these people, who are none too smart, and do do juvenile things like that.
The way to win is to continue to insult them. That was Alinsky’s biggest fear.
Make fun of them in an insulting way.
We no longer have Rush Limbaugh, but Greg Gutfeld does this great.
