President Joe Biden hosted breakfast for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Sunday but emerged with no deal to help pay for his nearly two trillion entitlement spending plan.
The president hosted Manchin and Schumer at his home in Delaware, as he continues leaving Washington, DC, on weekends. His agenda remains stalled in Congress as the Democrat moderates and progressives struggle with the price tag of his agenda and how to pay for it.

These people don't like to work much do they. Schumer is a dolt, but Manchin must have laughed out loud if Biden actually tried to say something coherent and lucid. Sheesh. Biden couldn't negotiate an ice cream cone, mush less a complicated bill.

I’d bet Branden lost his temper. I don’t see Manchin ever giving into him and even though he has said otherwise I think there’s an even chance he could switch parties soon.

I don’t think any of us can comprehend the kinds of pressures being exerted on Manchin. There’s money to be made or withdrawn, the safety of himself, family, and other people important to him and scandals that never happened but could suddenly appear in the headlines. The threats will be subtle but real.
I hope he has trustworthy, smart security.

I really do think all these videos of Biden standing inside a fake white house room when they are in the real white house are so they can begin filming him in Delaware and people will think he's still filming fake white house scenes from the real white house and that he's just going to be there most of the time.
There was no negotiation. If I were to set the scene ... there was a lot of smiling and handshaking (no masks), “how are you doing ... how are the wife and kids.” Followed by what can we (bribe) add to the legislation or anyone of your family need “some help” (getting in college, being appointed to something with big$$ but not have to show up), followed by pleading ... followed by threats.
Something is keeping the snake Manchin from going forward. Perhaps he fears what the WV mountain people might do to him and others close to him compared to blowhard putz Schumer.
Make no mistake, Manchin is just as bad as the rest of those cretins. He’s a liberal/Marxist like all the others. Do not be fooled!
I am more cynical. I think they have all the fake WH sets so FJB thinks he is still in the now familiar setting of the WH. He would react very confused otherwise.
