What a FANTASTIC article. Greenfield is the first writer to really explain what has gone on with imports coming into California. I’m not surprised one bit, either. This is what you get when “Green” and Union trumps everything else in a Democrat, one-party state.
This is only a prelude to what will be happening to the entire USA with the communists in control.
I live in Spokane and remember the day several years ago when truckers went on strike and Trader Joe had no food. because it had to be trucked in from CA. Larger stores had a little more.
I went to two supermarkets today and there was no hint of their being out of stock on anything.
Here in North Idaho, one of our top supermarkets (”Super One”) has three or four empty spaces on every aisle. Maybe I was there yesterday when restocking was yet to occur, but I doubt it.
I’ve been buying lots of TP. I got seriously clobbered in April and May 2020 when there weren’t any paper towels to be found anywhere (that was in California then). I eventually bought flat, folded paper towels (the kind you used to find in gasoline station rest rooms) at Home Depot and I’m still using those!
Houston does not have a back log. The Panama canal is open for business.
Yeah. Spring 2020 the shelves became bare.
We bought so much tp from Cosco years ago (by mistake, really) we still have plenty.
And it used to be ours...
