West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin just cooked the planet. I don’t mean that in a metaphorical sense. I mean that literally. Unless Manchin changes his negotiating position dramatically in the near future, he will be remembered as the man who, when the moment of decision came, chose to condemn virtually every living creature on Earth to a hellish future of suffering, hardship, and death.

Proving yet again, a lifetime of drug use is nothing to celebrate.
If some climate zealot assassinates Joe Manchin, Rolling Stone will write and article in praise of the assassin as a hero of the Revolution...............
Marc Morano should read Marc Moron for even writing this article.
Huffing ether...he's in bat country now..."
When millions of people vanish from the face of the planet some day, Rolling Stone will be one of the first out there with a story about how good it all is...
Hyperbole much, RS?
The sun is a star with 333 times the mass of the earth and a surface temperature of nearly 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Without the light and heat coming from the sun, the earth would be dark and extremely cold. But one man from West Virginia can affect the earth’s climate more than the sun.
It is amazing how many people swallow the hysteria hook, line and sinker.
Yeah, I feel bad when I think of all the $ I wasted on Rolling Stone. Writing about music is kind of an idiot gig. Music, and why people like music, is very hard to write about and a music mag ends up being about the writers struggling to come up with edgy new metaphors to describe the music they like.
Like, here’s this guy and he’s not that good a singer or player but millions of people love him more than their own parents; more than their own kids! A writer may be a very good writer making good money but he’ll never be loved like that, right? So there’s the jealousy factor too.
But it’s worse when they try to write about current events/politics!
And then they started to try to sell Yoko to me. Slowly I turned, step by step....
I used to subscribe to “Guitar Player” mag too - it was always interviews with famed guitarists, session and band players, and then they would break down some of that person’s playing style and give you a chart so you could try it, too. That’s way better writing about musick. Creem was a good mag, too.
Just thinking about another post I saw this week: Last Six Months Coldest on Record for Antarctica”.
I used to follow a lot of music blogs and such before they went full-on woke and it’s the general consensus that Rolling Stone’s Top 10/50/100 Best albums or best songs lists are garbage. No one cares what they have to say about anything at this point. It’s all just fluff.
🤣
Amen.
Back in the day it was great. Now it’s basically Woman’s Day with music instead of recipes.
This guy is a drama king.
“.....chose to condemn virtually every living creature on Earth to a hellish future of suffering, hardship, and death.”
I would say that the democrats have been doing just that
all by themselves.
You make me think. Their hyperbole would make for an excellent code. Word-replacement codes don’t often make sense, read in the clear. Perhaps this is the Left’s secret channel of communication?
They stopped being about rock musick, too - I used to read it at the library as a kid before I subscribed because I was nuts about rock musick. However, after awhile it was all Joni Mitchell and Sade, and Midnight Runners and blah blah. They like sparkling production values and challenging themes in musick, not loudness and a heavy beat. Too bad.
The left has the power to save our planet but only if we give them trillions of dollars ..no questions asked.
The Chinese have given the “Let’s Go!” chant to the rest of the world by saying they’re going to do whatever they want about the climate. Under the climate freaks’ own science, we’re screwed anyway because of that, and Manchin’s position won’t change that.
