President Joe Biden revisited his love of trains during a trip to his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, promising to get millions of vehicles off the roads.
“We will take literally millions of automobiles off the road,” Biden boasted, arguing that more high-speed trains like the ones constructed in China would make trains more attractive.

You can see in Europe more and more budget airlines taking business from their trains' long distance travel. So rather than leading Europe, Biden wants us to go to where they were fifty years ago.
I realize there have been some updates, but aren’t trains and train tracks essentially 1800’s technology? It was great when most areas were urban, and people lived close together, but people are much more spread out now.

Right of way issues will kill that. The railroad tunnel in Baltimore has the Northeast bottle necked.
The CCP at least knows how to build and run high speed trains competently. Our domestic leftists are spectacularly incompetent and mendacious. Let’s look at California’s floundering high speed rail project. Then the East Coast version of leftist incompetence: they can’t even build a rail tunnel under the Hudson River to replace a century old tunnel. Between minority and women set asides, environmental measures, mandatory LGBTQ and CRT nonsense, kickbacks to politicians and union bosses, etc., public works are a sewer of incompetence and corruption.
You won’t be able to ride the train without the vax
Unannounced detours to concentration camps and gas chambers (or some metaphor of it) will occur once the Government controls the path and destination.
