The man accused of raping a stranger on a metro Philadelphia train full of bystanders who cops say stood and filmed is a Congolese national present in the US illegally, according to a new report.

He pleaded guilty to the sex charge in 2017 in Washington DC and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, and was then placed in immigration detention in January 2018.
However, Ngoy was never deported, because an immigration judge granted him a 'withholding of removal' in March 2019, after an appeals board found that his sex crime was not a 'serious crime' that made him eligible for removal.
If I beat the living daylights out of everyone in that appeals board would it be considered a "serious crime"?
Come on, man! Feel the vibrancy!
Instead of filming they should have beat him to a bloody pulp.
Call the social workers!
Diversity is our strength
Frankly, I would have called the police, and left the scene ASAP.
If you're a white male, do any physical act on the perp, and there is as likely a chance YOU will go to jail.
Remember for leftists in places like Philadelphia, as a cisgender member of the patriarchy, my judgement is automatically flawed. I can't judge sexual morals or gender identification without adding my biases. So who is to know reality of the situation? Indeed, making a spot decision it is 'rape' is a highly biased and fraught action.
Sorry, its the world the left has created.
If you applied this standard in New York, you could never hire enough 911 operators.
Just curious, if anyone knows that commuter line, if it serves predominantly black areas?
That actually sounds like a reasonable defense, considering the authorities trying to railroad witnesses, to deflect from the perp they didn’t bother to deal with in the past.
Ah, the cultural enrichment...
And make sure they bring the teddy bears.
69th St station is in Upper Darby. It used to be blue collar whites, now it’s “diverse”. A combo of mostly blacks, with assorted poor Asians and Paki trash as well. Tons of store signs aren’t in English.
No one is eager to be another Bernie Goetz, sorry.
Everyone should carry and know how to use a weapon of some sort; pepper spray is very useful and legal to carry with you most places. Teach your kids how to stay alert in public places and review how to deal with someone following you, accosting you in a public place, etc. Don’t just tell them: Run through some drills. And home-school them if you can. Our public schools these days are little better than train stations or parks.
If you don’t have a weapon or if you know nothing about self-defense, at least watch some videos if you can’t take a class. “Just ignore it” is the common reply to any concerns about creepy/stalker/mugger type individuals in this day. There are simple ways to thwart someone who’s following you - although if you’re being stalked on a regular basis by one or more individuals, you may want to consider a job change or a move, because guess what? The cops won’t be there for you when and if you do complain. That’s just the time we live in.
Are we going to expect for bystanders or even the cops to help us these days? LOL! I would say it’s better to arm yourself and take your chances in the jungle or simply leave the jungle if you can.
Does not change what should happen.
“all cultures”
Not looking for a graphic answer but was this really rape? I think of rape as being something very specific if you get my drift.... Wouldn’t the charge be more along the lines of sexual assault, attempted rape or some other such charge? Where does the line get drawn between rape and sexual assault?
“Where does the line get drawn between rape and sexual assault?”
I think if you ask Whoppie, it’s when it is rape-rape.
Ok...so here is a piece that has outlined the definitions as I generally understand them to be.
Yep. First thing I thought when I heard of multiple videographers and no one trying to stop it.
