Southwest scrapped a plan to put unvaccinated workers with pending exemptions on unpaid leave after the Dec. 8 deadline. Both American and Southwest require their new-hire employees to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination before their first day. Large airlines are federal contractors and subject to a Biden administration order that requires their employees to be vaccinated or receive an exemption for medical or religious reasons.

It is not good enough to win the issue. Every win need a to be followed up with the question “Who made this bad decision in the first place and when are they being fired?”

I still believe it will be shot down very quickly by some court or another once it is actually issued. All you need is one court to issue an injunction, and one Court of Appeals to uphold the injunction upon a likely expedited appeal.

The Biden admin wants to call a win sometime next year prior to the election and credit the vaccine and of course their sterling leadership (*cough*). the reality is herd immunity is setting in with out without the vaccine. It’s just harder to call it a win for the vaccine when 30~40% of the country is not vaxxed.
