If they go on unpaid leave, they are not coming back. They will head to FL, TX, SC, ND, or OK.

Do it, police.
Let the liberal SOBs watch the burn.
We respect you.
Your mayor, however, can eat s*** and die.

I could be mistaken, but from what I have read it may not be 50% that are refusing the vax. They are refusing to turn over their papers.
It is highly likely that 80%+ of our front line people - doctors, nurses, fireman, police - were already infected and recovered from the virus. The policy is stupid for too many reasons to list.

If the city does this the PD should pull police protective detachments from all government officials as they will be desperately needed on the streets.

IMO cops, firemen and nurses...nationwide...should go on strike to demand that mandates be rescinded.
And at their picket lines they can carry signs saying "SIX MONTHS AGO WE WERE HEROES!
To: RummyChick
I wonder if any of those are on her security detail.

people should depart from corrupt, ideological, out-of-touch institutions.
No amount of money will protect you when they ultimately collapse.

Lightloafers got the FOP union president slapped with a restraining order to shut him up. Because he has not only been urging the members (who hate her anyway) to stand up against this, but that even prior to this no one is entering the police academy. She can’t replace them unless she starts deputizing gangbangers...
uh oh...

Oh, well. If there are half as many police, there will be half as much crime, right?

Nearly 50% of Chicago's 13,000-strong police force could be put on unpaid LEAVE for ignoring Mayor Lori Lightfoot's compulsory shot orderLet it be so.

With half the police out, crime will triple. Looks like it’s more important to force compliance than to save lives.

She said in Thursday's filing that the police union president was 'engaging in, supporting, and encouraging a work stoppage or strike'.I don't like unions but isn't that the job of a union president?
