Delta Air Lines is ditching a vaccine mandate for employees, according to company CEO Ed Bastian, who notably emphasized the “divisiveness” of such an order.
Bastian said announcing a plan to get all employees vaccinated, without enforcing a mandate, has worked, allowing the company to reach a 90% vaccination rate.
“The reason the mandate was put in by [the] president, I believe, was because they wanted to make sure companies had a plan to get their employees vaccinated,” the CEO said, according to Fox Business. “A month before the president came out with the mandate, we had already announced our plan to get all of our people vaccinated. And the good news is the plan is working.”
Bastian “acknowledged that there will need to be religious and medical accommodations made for those who wish to remain unvaccinated while avoiding having to threaten employment status,” Fox Business noted.
“By the time we’re done, we’ll be pretty close to fully vaccinated as a company without going through all the divisiveness of a mandate,” the executive said.

Not to say there couldn’t be bad batches of the so-called “vaccines” because when tens of millions of doses of the stuff are being rushed to market it seems inevitable that there will be processing errors.
But as for parasites and metals being part of the formula for the “vaccines” — very much doubt it.

Good on him! He’s been pretty lousy throughout all of this, and imposed ridiculous masking and other restrictions on flight attendants and fliers. And he went all in on BLM riots in Atlanta (Delta HQ).
The former CEO was pretty conservative and created an excellent working and flying environment. I always used to fly Delta and was Platinum Medallion, because the flight was always good and the customer service, if you had a problem, was also good.
I have flown only once (domestic on Delta, using up some miles) since this stupid stuff began because I cannot stand wearing a (useless) mask and while I’ve been vaccinated, I refuse to go around showing the “proof” as a prerequisite for flying to or arriving in a state or country.
So I’m actually surprised and very happy that he did this. It’s only going to stop if the people the Feds put in charge of enforcing it...private companies...just say no.
