Two top Republican senators are demanding answers from Attorney General Merrick Garland because the Justice Department has failed to release anything in the “binder” of Crossfire Hurricane documents that former President Donald Trump ordered declassified during his last day in office.
The memo from Trump said he had “determined that the materials in that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible.” The FBI said in mid-January that the bureau had "identified the passages that it believed it was most crucial to keep from public disclosure.”...

Why did Trump wait so long?
He’s been fighting for their release since he fired Comey. But he was up against stonewalling from the DOJ, FBI, CIA, DNI, and 57 other ghost intel agencies. The article mentions one of the last kurfuffels was Oct ‘20 with Ratcliffe declassifying Brennan’s notes (or some of them anyway). Here’s the WE’s previous article on it:

Trump had no obedience from the Obama deep staters
Trump should have cut their budgets. That’s the only thing that gets the attention of swamp bureaucrats. Instead Trump gave the FIB A brand new $2 billion swamp HQ.
It’s pretty obvious now that Trump was mostly a figurehead POTUS with little real power due to the GOP’s role in tbe coup. The executive branch did whatever they wanted, basically.
The bigger problem is that Trump had no political party on his flanks supporting him. He was riding solo in the swamp for his entire term.
Because those in the “Dept. of Justice are DIRTY.
Congress funds those agencies, not the President.
Any agency trying to subvert Trump would have all the money they had ever dreamed of.
I realize that. Everything spirals down from one simple fact: the bipartisan nature of the coup. FIBBER enthusiasm for the coup would have gone down massively had they feared losing their jobs over it.
Instead, the GOP publicly signaled their support for the coup and here we are five years later. Trump on the golf course and 80 million Trump voters disenfranchised.
I agree with you. The only political hope I have is that DJT returns to the White House and brings a blowtorch with him. Returning America to her citizens is a real long shot at this point, but one I hope for.

The Deep State does what the New World Order tells it to do. They don’t listen to pesky people like voters or presidents, unless it is in line with their commie philosophy.
Trump was no longer president on his last day. He was stripped of all powers January 7th in a palace coup stealth 25th.
Military in the streets... Check, and he didn’t order them there.
Seize the radio station... Check, banned from all social media so he could not communicate.
Half his cabinet immediately resigned...
Pence no longer went to the White House.
Trump orders after the 6th were simply ignored.
The house immediately impeached him and then Mitch waited till after he was gone to try him. Trump did not go to the fake inauguration, but the conspirators including Pence did.
Trump was told to sit silently and shut up. He was told the military and DOJ, FBI and Intel communities were no longer following his orders. That if he played ball, he could leave quietly. If he resisted in any way, including in speeches, the Senate would act on the impeachment by the end of the day, and he and his family would be arrested.
So that last day order was meaningless. He had no power.
The GOP ejected him with military support.

if you know who Sir Humphrey Appleby is, then you also know there is absolutely NO chance of EVER seeing this, or anything else “they” don’t want released.
