American Airlines has 216 flights cancelled and 519 delayed so far today
They had 19 cancelled yesterday

More than 230 American Airlines flights have been cancelled and 600 more have been delayed thanks to Hurricane Joe Brandon, just as CFP predicted and reported Monday night.

My son flew AA today. There was a 2 hour delay.
Why would anyone fly during a pandemic. Stay home. Wear your mask at home. Douse your grocery delivery with Lysol.
Umm….UPS planes have flown over my house all night long for decades.

If I thought that Biden and his admin was smarter (like FDR), this could be a “perfect storm” to allow for the Feds to take over “critical structures” with worker shortages and staff them with “Federally vetted and trained professionals newly arrived in the USA to provide critical support to hospitals, airlines, transportation and education systems. This is the perfect example of ‘Build Back Better’! And as such, we will get the trains running on schedule once again in the glorious Fatherland.”
My daughter works at a large retail place. They are having a difficult time finding workers. She works her butt off to make up for the lack of people and the inexperience of those that are there.
But she is pretty close to her breaking point. She already puts in lots of 12 hour days. If pushed much more she’ll quit and find something else. Although she wouldn’t mind just switching over to the night shift either.

The American people need to join in on this in mass

Its not the Stu’s that are doing this, its the pilots. Most of the Stu’s (and yes I mean it as a cut against the little mask Nazi’s becasue that is pretty much all they do now) have taken the clot shot. The pilots are wayyyyy different than the sheep herders in the back.
Glad I have no plans to fly, the weather out there is just awful.
