I thought the problem with high winds is electrical fires under the power lines which the envirnuts won’t let them clear the brush.
I have been curious for years why SDG&E, my utility in So. OC, never has blackouts or lowers transmission. Less customers? Better management? Shorter transmission lines/infrastructure? Political influence?

So let’s follow the dots:
Power gets shut off randomly-—sometimes with notice—sometimes NO NOTICE...
Because power companies are being blamed for fires.
What will power companies use to trim those trees?????/
NO generators allowed to keep your items refrigerated—keep your house warm enough to prevent freezing pipes... no way to pump water for your livestock from your well,,, etc.
Wildfires that are still being fought-—for over 3 months in Calif-—have had over 10,000 fire fighters on those fires during this summer.
NOW-—FIREFIGHTERS cannot use chainsaws????????
Newsom should be hung-—along with the entire Calif Legislature that wrote this bill.
NOW-—Newsom has outlawed chain saws...to do that trimming.
And to add salt to the wound, the State of California mandated that all new home construction to be all electric. No natural gas allowed.
Looks like Newsome wants to make his subjects suffer for the recall.
Hm. Well, expect a “man-made” fire in the immediate future, then. Begun in several different areas. Really hot ones burning low-density homes in desirable areas. Especially in areas with wells, so there will be no water available due to no power to the well pumps.
