Graham: GOP ‘Made Democrats Believe We’re all Talk and No Action’ — ‘We Screwed Up’

During a Thursday interview with Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sounded off on the Senate voting to raise the debt ceiling.

Graham lamented that the GOP “blinked” after initially vowing not to help the Democrats raise the debt ceiling. He added that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) striking a deal with the Democrats shows them the Republican side is “all talk and no action.”

started calling the 11 backstabbers’ offices today and they are all claiming “they only voted for cloture, not the debt limit”. I politely said “you stabbed your voters in the back by siding with the dems and it will be remembered”. So that is going to be their excuse “it was only cloture”. Call them and raise hell - it won’t make a difference but it made me feel better.

The republican party is about to go the way of the Whigs. The GOP is like gas station sushi with a sell-by-date of January 20, 1989 and the base is faces with two choices, keep eating the GOP gas station sushi and face certain suffering and possible death or to start a new party.

Ask yourself, would a new party be anywhere near as useless and underhanded as the GOP is now?
