Yep, I said that a few weeks ago when the Biden domestic enemy regime started bringing up gun control again: Here comes to mass shootings. I expect there will be a lot more. They killed so far 4.5 million people world wide by getting China to release Covid just to get Trump out of office, so mass shootings are nothing to them.
My son is a student there.
Police, SWAT, fire, ambulances, the response was swift and massive.
The police and MISD have been amazing coordinating the transport of kids off site for parent pick up.

Suspect taken into custody
Timothy George Simpkins, 18, has been taken into custody, assistant Arlington police chief Kevin Kolbye said at a news conference. He will be charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
A weapon was recovered in the streets, which will be turned over to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Kolbye said. Police have not yet confirmed if it was the weapon used in the shooting.
My 15 year old is one of them. I was on the phone with him for 2 hours straight until the all clear.
Scariest thing that a parent can hear is their child saying, “Mom, I don’t want to die this way,” and there is NOTHING you can do except talk to them.

At one point this spring, Breaking News had the last 3 Sunday Morning Talk Show threads, and the last Breaking News thread link was 28 days old.
The complete loss of control over content is a result of trolls purposefully sh!t-posting a tsunami of MSM sewage to flood-the-zone. What's different since the Plendemic is that the trolls have learned to simply pay the freight, offering minimal monthly support in order to operate out in the open.
Their sh!t-posting is specifically meant to drive off the Two-Decades Freeper Crew -- in the same way these same trolls have utilized DefundThePolice to force white men over 30 out of urban police departments -- and these trolls know that if they continue to be successful in driving out lifers, they will vastly reduce FreeRepublic's utility as the vanguard of consitutional conservatism.
Meanwhile we are made to understand that the mods don't want to be bothered by the potemkin petty conflicts engineered by these same malicious post trolls -- who then punch Abuse and bitch endlessly in threads about their garbage MSM article being removed (when it should never have been posted). This intended cognitive dissonance has apparently saturated and overwhelmed decision-making when allowing/disallowing sidebar posts.
What should deeply concern every Freeper is that much of this trolling is coordinated off-site by trolls who don't even bother to change their name they use here, or if operating under a different username, they brag about intentionally disrupting this site in the way that "Freeper Madness" used to encourage, but who is now roasting in hell.

Actually, there was one in breaking news early on, but it got moved out. Possibly due to its title: WATCH LIVE SCHOOL SHOOTING
I bumped this copy to front page a little later myself. By then, it was apparent that it was not another Columbine, etc. But I’m sure the MSM will play it up with wall-to-wall coverage as they call for more gun control.
I agree there is a problem with our system.
It’s no big deal but I have some questions.
I was sitting in the chair, reading the Ipad and watching Fox. Suddenly Harris Faulkner interrupted and said there was a reported shooting at Arlington, Texas.
I had the Ipad, already hooked up to FreeRepublic. I heard it as soon as it happened. My first thought was that I should put this up on FreeRepublic.
I have never put an item in Breaking News on FreeRepublic.
However, for a couple of hours there were a few threads on the issue but unlike Breaking News, they don’t stay around.
I don’t know if you need permission to post in Breaking News, if I even can. And I know there were a few times when the same story, such as this, would be up on FreeRepublic under Breaking News.
So the moderators, or whoever polices this forum, had to struggle to figure who put up first, take down the extras, somebody comes back later saying they had an earlier post.
Now this doesn’t happen all that often and I consider it one of FreeRepublic’s charm.
But I had to go to other sites to find out what was going on because trying to figure it out on FreeRepublic was too confusing for a couple of hours.
I’m not complaining but am wondering how it’s supposed to work.
If a white cop shoots him all hell will break loose.

Good point you brought up about students recording school lectures. It hadn’t dawned on me that this strategy had expanded to HS.
In college, I recorded darn near every math, science and engineering class I took. In the evening, I usually listened to each days recording and used that to tweak my notes and make sure I had homework assignments and schedules right. Next, I would start on reading and homework.
A typical 15-16 credit hour load of STEM program stuff would give me about 20-25 hours of class and lab time and added to that would be 40-50 hours of study and homework.
Why is a rich black man with diamond earing and gold teeth in a sophomore class at the high school?
