The police and MISD have been amazing coordinating the transport of kids off site for parent pick up.

Suspect taken into custody
Timothy George Simpkins, 18, has been taken into custody, assistant Arlington police chief Kevin Kolbye said at a news conference. He will be charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
A weapon was recovered in the streets, which will be turned over to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Kolbye said. Police have not yet confirmed if it was the weapon used in the shooting.
I’m so glad your son and others are okay. Must have been so tense for you and all parents there. Can’t imagine that fear before people knew their own children were alive and well.
