Garland Directs FBI To Target Parents For ‘Harassment, Intimidation’
Daily Caller ^ | 5 October 2021 | Kendall Tietz

Posted on 10/05/2021 3:35:06 AM PDT by Erik Latranyi

Attorney General Merrick Garland called on the FBI to “use its authority” against parents who threaten or use violence against public school officials in a Monday memorandum.

Garland said there has been a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.” He said he is directing the FBI to work with each U.S. attorney and leaders “in each federal judicial district” to discuss strategy to address threats within 30 days of his statement.

The Department of Justice’s memorandum did not specify what it classifies as a crime and did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for clarification on the matter.

The US dodged a bullet when Garland was not confirmed by the Senate.

Show in the Constitution where it states that the feds can enforce local law?

The reversal of this madness will begin when the colleges of indoctrination, that are poisoning our youth with communism, are shut down.

These protests are local matters, not within the jurisdiction of the federal government.

What about the people who have been harassing Manchin and Sinema? This is what they need to investigate. Or is it, as Biden said, just part of the process.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/columnists/2021/1/7/22219886/joe-biden-taps-lincolnwood-raised-merrick-garland-for-attorney-general-to-run-justice-department

In the summer of 1974, Garland worked on the congressional campaign of Abner Mikva for a north suburban district seat.

The relationship starting in a campaign office at 4016b Church St. in Skokie endured. President Bill Clinton, on Sept. 6, 1995, nominated Garland to the appeals court seat Mikva vacated.

Sanford Horwitt, author of “Conversations with Abner Mikva,” said Mikva “was a very important mentor for Merrick. … Throughout Merrick’s career he turned to Mikva for wise counsel. … He valued Mikva’s sage political insights and intellect.”

At Harvard, he became close friends with Jamie Gorelick, who was Garland’s boss when they both worked at the Justice Department and she was deputy attorney general.

I asked her how Garland handled the disappointment of McConnell blocking his Supreme Court appointment.

“In a situation in which other people might have been really thrown for a loop, he was not,” Gorelick said. “Second, he liked his job as chief judge of the D.C. circuit … so he threw himself into that.”

Garland’s chief judge term ended last year. “And at that point he thought long and hard whether to take senior status, which of course he would not do while Trump was in office,” she said.

Gorelick said she and Garland started to discuss the possibility of becoming attorney general under a Biden presidency. It was “something that was really attractive to him because he saw how devastated the career people had been during the Trump tenure.”

https://theintercept.com/2021/02/23/merrick-garland-justice-department-corporate-lawyers/

Garland’s most concerning connection is Jamie Gorelick, who, despite being unlikely to get a formal role within the department, is positioning herself as a fixer with Washington’s most direct line to Garland’s office and unique power to influence the Biden Department of Justice. Currently a partner at the powerful firm WilmerHale, Gorelick was the former No. 2 ranking member in the Clinton Justice Department, where Garland served as her top deputy. Gorelick helped Garland secure his judgeship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, and since Biden’s announcement of Garland’s nomination, she has been advertising her proximity to Garland and their lengthy friendship. Gorelick and Garland went to college together, and in a recent interview, she referred to Garland as her “wingman.”

If 1,000 parents each holler at a school board member as they leave a meeting, is that “harassment” or “seeking redress of grievances”?

We’ll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

Unconstitutional and illegal Nazi-type Federal Government FBI directive. Defy it in every way possible. Have the right Court knock it down.

Are people finally getting the idea that the GREATEST threat to our freedoms, wellbeing, and very lives is not Big Tech, China, or the Man in the Moon, but none other than the MOSTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT???

Will people finally realize that government is NOT their friend and stop trusting in man and his corrupt government and turn once again to trusting the Lord who gave us this great land and its freedoms to begin with???

The Constitution is the ONLY legal bulwark of freedom against the tyranny of the feds.

Patriots, rally around the Constitution and BRING TYRANNY DOWN!!!!

Our Free Constitutional Republic MUST be restored by dismantling the 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the feds.

harassment, intimidation is apparently
in the eye of the beholder.

So who , exactly, is intimidating and harassing who ?

Since when
is petitioning for right of redress

intimidation and harassment ?

Direct frontal attack on the
1st amendment
and right of redress
is what this is.

I bet king George the 3rd is rolling in his grave wishing he would have thought up this spin.

Spit.

“We will vote you out if you don’t stop this crap”

has now been labeled

Intimidation and harassment.

What’s next ?
Campaigning for conservatives ?
Rallies ?

You betcha.

Spit.

Thanks to Mitch for stopping this NUT from being on the Supreme Court.

I was thinking the same thing. This jackoff would have made Sorttamanure or Kagen look like Scalia in comparison. Unless the FBI has SWAT to smoke you out, don’t even give them the time of day.
