WASHINGTON — President Biden will scramble to Capitol Hill Friday afternoon to try and salvage his signature spending plans after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi laid the groundwork to delay a vote on his $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill for up to a month, sources told The Post.

Biden’s effort to strike a deal with warring House Democrats also came after two leading progressive lawmakers took shots at him for not engaging in talks sooner.

Biden isn't going to negotiate anything. The guy barely knows his own name.

How about if he goes up there to tender his resignation in person. That would be a good into the week. Downside is that we would have Harris next week

Do you suppose even “progressive lawmakers” are getting a little tired of being handed a radical leftist agenda presented by a wildly-unpopular dementia patient?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also said of Biden, “I think that the president has been playing a convening role and he’s exploring the contours of the positive contribution he can make,”

What a bunch of hooey, out of some 250 RAT Congresspeoples - she is CNN’s go to person for quotes…

They argued with Trump and the GOP about the amount of spending last year, and never got anything done. Now the wool is off exposing that they never had the votes to get what they were demanding anyway.

Hello media? Where are you?

My son Beau served in Iraq, then he died (oh BTW this has nothing to do with Iraq). Pass this for Beau!!!

My first wife who I was cheating on, died in a head on with a drunk driver. Wait a minute, I made that drunk driving part up. Pass the bill for her!!!

In fairness, he lost the recipe in the move to the White
House...

...along with the directions how to use the bathroom.

Is Joe going to whisper something creepy into Kyrsten Sinema’s ear and sniff her hair?

If that won’t work, maybe a nipple twist will convince her.

Not today - she's in AZ.

In 2018, a progressive wave swept into Congress, surrounded by a celebrity bubble that tells them they are not only right, but in the majority. They now have sympathetic Democrats in charge of the House, the Senate and the presidency.

They decided to go for broke. The result?

The For the People Act died in the Senate.

The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act died in the Senate.

Amnesty died in the Senate.

Corporate tax increases died in the Senate.

The Equality Act died in the Senate.

Filibuster reform died in the Senate.

The Green New Deal died in the Senate.

Reconciliation died in the Senate.

Obama lost bigtime———Repubs control redistricting.

Now the progressives will kill the bipartisan infrastructure plan, which included some of what they wanted, because it is not enough. They will take no wins unless they can have all the wins. Zealots always prefer to live in hell if they can’t get Heaven exactly as they want it. h/t Erick Erickson

I believe you are on to something there.
However, having noticed Vice-President Biden’s letter addressing the Amtrak accident with similar family concerns
mentioned many years ago, I do believe his advancing dementia has failed to notice an opportunity this time.
He is not playing the Amtrak-family connection card in ways of old. Something is obviously really wrong in my opinion.
