A trans-identified biological female alleges that a hospital in New York discriminated by requiring a pregnancy test even though the patient identifies as a male and says the nurses did not use preferred pronouns.
If it still has a working uterus then a pregnancy test is indicated. As for pronouns, I recommend using "hey, @$$hole!"

Biology and Insurance liability trump Gender Dysphoria in medical/surgical requirements. I suppose they could use the “he” pronoun, but there is a good medical reason to ascertain if a person with a vagina is pregnant before doing a medical procedure.
