Health systems suffering from relaxed restrictions, says national association
The Canadian Medical Association is calling for lockdowns in Alberta and Saskatchewan to protect their "crumbling" health-care systems.
Both western provinces are setting hospitalization records for COVID-19, with intensive care capacity running slim.
Dr. Katherine Smart, president of the national association, is urging the federal and provincial governments to take immediate action.
The association is calling for short, controlled lockdowns, often called "firebreakers" or "circuit-breakers", which would close schools and non-essential businesses...

First the notion of a strained health care system like the GOP Governor Brad Little did in Idaho the other week.
Then the use of the lockdown itself.
The "Australiastan" solution down there the PM Morrison and state premiers all link lifting of lockdowns to vaccination targets.
Well as I see it if you don’t have the medical facilities in shape to handle what you have going on, nor the medical staff, then what are you going to do?
Its plausible that Canada’s health care system has problems being the “socialist” kind but lying to scare people into vaccination is also plausible.
I think both sides of the vaccine argument use a bit of exaggeration or lies to achieve their ends.
We live in a “fallen world” and the truth is probably somewhere in between the drama in the media.
With You Tube shoving pro-vaccine propaganda down our throats and censoring the opposition to the vaccine the information war isn’t very “fair and balanced” right now.
That’s an honest objective sizing up of the situation.
Has anyone else ever noticed that when women get in positions of authority they do the very best impersonations of the worst, most vicious petty tyrant known?

“healthcare” is secondary.
As it’s turning out, the masks don’t work, the vaxxes don’t work in the long run and have significant issues in the short run for many, the lockdowns don’t work, 6ft of Social Distancing is a joke, and “No Ivermectin/HCQ/MCA for YOU! ; go home and come back when you need a ventilator” all don’t work.
They have weak, totally bad “Science”.
Has anyone taken into account that Alberta and Saskatchewan are the two most conservative provinces in all Canada?

You can argue that the medical association is playing politics that is true.
It is getting even with ex-husband syndrome.
Unfortunately all of this covid thing became totally political and screwed up everything. Somewhere in between it all are the facts but they’ve flooded so much junk out there, by so many so called professionals, heck who knows what the truth is!
Frankly there are people being hospitalized with ‘something’ that is killing a lot of people and nobody wants to catch it.....and that’s the bottom line.
