Now that’s not good reporting: Lots of things at Dollar Tree cost more than a dollar!
So now China owned dollar tree is raising its prices on pre copied ballots due to bidens inflationary policies?
Not a big deal to a person who remembers five and dime stores...
Maybe they need to change their name.
“The Inflation Adjusted Pricing Store” has a nice ring to it.
many are telling us that they also want a broader product assortment when they come to shop,” said CEO Michael Witynski in a prepared statement.
...............................................
Well, CEO Witynski, why don’t you tell those who “want a broader product assortment” to go down the street to Walmart or across the street to the Dollar General?
Hope this stupid move backfires big time!
Guess they’ll be changing their name to “Buck an’a Quarter”
Not too long ago, the burger chain Carl’s Jr. offered what it dubbed the Six-Dollar Burger—a burger that cost about $2:50 but was supposedly the equivalent of a six-dollar burger at a fancy restaurant. Now, with the price of the Six-Dollar Burger shooting way past six dollars, it has been renamed the Thick Burger.
My juvenile humor takes a hit on this. I can no longer hold up an item and tell the clerk it’s not marked and ask how much is it?
Honestly if I were them I’d just rebrand as the Two Dollar Tree
Have a special aisle where things are still under $2
They can buy some time if they change their name to “Deuce Tree”, meaning bring your $2 bills, or telling us that items cost $2 or less.
We have a Dollar Tree in our area. I went in once. Came out with absolutely nothing.
Hello Bidenomics, goodbye Dollar Store.
I’ve looked thru their food aisles and I must say, if the SHTF badly enough and they survived, you could eat 3 meals a day for about $10. You’d be as unhealthy as hell but you’d eat.
Dollar-n-Change Store.....TM
I was wondering when joe biden’s dollar would be worth 10 cents. Looks like it is now.
They have shrunk their sizes and contents up to 50% I buy all sorts of cleaning supplies. Dish soaps and cleaning products are now half the size as they were. Many of the food products have vanished and those that are left are in bottles 1/2 the size as well. YAy Chomo Joe!!!
Dollar Tree’s sunglasses and cheater reading glasses have been a good bargain to me. Need to go pick some more up.
I'm never going back.
We have a Dollar Tree in the next town over that went up a few years ago. Things I normally buy there:
Greeting Cards
Cleaning Supplies
Books (you have to scrounge, but you can find some good stuff!)
Pretzels
Gift Wrap & Bags
Cheap shampoo and soaps
That’s about it. I avoid the China stuff, of course.
