More Texas voters believe Gov. Greg Abbott (R) does not deserve to be reelected, according to a poll released on Tuesday.
The survey conducted by Quinnipiac University found that 51 percent of registered voters in Texas believe Abbott does not deserve to be reelected, compared with 42 percent who said the governor deserves a third term.
The opposition to Abbott’s reelection was up from June, when a separate Quinnipiac poll found that 46 percent of Texas voters supported Abbott’s 2022 reelection bid, compared with 48 percent who did not.

Alan West is giving Abbott a run for his money for the Republican nominee. Beto got most of his campaign contributions from out of state, which he probably will this time too. Then Matthew McConaughey is running too!
I had been looking at moving to another State, mostly because I hate the summers here, but decided to stay here because the governance is better. So we’re kind of in the same boat.
Abbott is milquetoast.
He acts only for votes not on core principles in my opinion. Governor West sounds best. Remember the Alamo!
