Worried Trump could 'go rogue,' Milley took top-secret action to protect nuclear weapons

Two days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, President Donald Trump's top military adviser, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley, single-handedly took top-secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to "Peril," a new book by legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.

Woodward and Costa write that Milley, deeply shaken by the assault, 'was certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, with Trump now all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies.'

Milley worried that Trump could 'go rogue,' the authors write.

If you read the story, you learn very quickly that Woodward took what was probably an afternoon interview with Gen. Jughead and had less than half a book because the topic is played. out. -- note that Woodward subsequently "extended" his book's scope to include the puppet-state installation all the way to Kabul, BUT PROBABLY ONE MINUTE SHORT OF GEN. MILLEY'S COMPLETE BOTCHED WITHDRAWAL FROM AFGHANISTAN THAT COST 12 US SERVICEMEN THEIR VERY EXISTENCE!

Why? There were reports at the time that Pelosi had met with the Joint Chiefs regarding security in D.C., as well as her stirring the pot about requiring Congress to approve Trump's presidential access to the nuclear launch codes. In light of those facts, this seems very plausible.

Anything less and we need to write off the top military as far as loyalty to the constitution.
