Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President George W. Bush’s comments comparing the January 6 Capitol protesters to the Islamic terrorists were “words of wisdom.”
During his speech at the 9/11 memorial service for Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, Bush said, “There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. Then there is disdainful pluralism in their disdain for human life. In their determination to defile national symbols they are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

I think perhaps his remarks are couched language.
He did not specify, to be sure, but the comments definitely can apply to the ENDLESS RIOTS. Who is tearing down and defacing national symbols? Jan 6 people carried flags. BLM burns and tears and stomps on them.
We can call him cowardly for not directly speaking the names, but perhaps he’s really just playing that game of pleasing both sides?
Goes to prove that asswipes of a feather stick together.
Yeah, I know what you mean, Asa... I hated it when those Trumplims hijacked those planes and flew them into the Capitol Building and the Pentagon on Jan. 6 2021.
Years Of ANTIFA, BLM and DEMONCRAT Arson, Looting, Murder and Rioting and not a frigging syllable from these gutless GOP MF’ers.
A few Morons get out of control on January 6th and it’s Armageddon.
Sorry folks, we are all alone. The World is frigging insane.
When Asa was on Tucker, he sounded less intelligent than the average barfly.
1. I haven't listened to a single thing George W. has ever said since the day he said I was a bloviator.
2. I wouldn't follow Asa Hutchinson to the well if I was dying of thirst.
Nevertheless, in the tiny clip I saw here, Bush seemed to be calling out people denigrating our national symbols. That can apply to Democrat book burners.
Maybe his whole speech was about US patriots. I won't waste any time listening to Bush to see if that is so. I'm still a bloviator.
W is the evil doer.
And that was the point - with dominion the gopers will not be reelected
We can only hope that these scumbags are sent to the dustbin of history. They are playing a key role in destroying this country and should pay a steep price for their treachery.
Yes sir.
Luciferians of a feather, flock together!
You're assuming the left is giving an honest view on what Bush said. That's quite an assumption to think the left is honest and not twisting things to play into their hand.
He sure as hell was NOT talking about BLM and antiFA, FRiend.
His speech and his idiot brother’s tweet was directed at Trump supporters who he has genericized into “white supremacists” which they are not, lumping Patriots into only one segment, while Trump got 30% of the black vote- not possible. Bush is against the GREAT AMERICA that is not run by his cronies in RINO land (Romney who marched with BLM- the democrat communist front fundraiser outfit- funds went to ActBlue) or in daddy Bush’s deep state machine.
We cannot have our country run by these people. Not obamaumao, not hitlery, and not the Bushes.
This is Trump vs. obamaumao’s deep imbeds and Muslim Brotherhood Communists. Never forget John Brennan and what scum he is. How much money came from Bush fronts to the Lincoln Project- they’ll never tell.
Perhaps he’s vaccinated and has spike proteins multiplying out-of-control piling up in his brain?
You can’t be that stupid.
What I am saying is that if George W. Bush disagreed with the way CNN or MSNBC is interpreting his words he would publicly say so. He is allowing what the reports say to stand, so he must agree with it. It’s not like he couldn’t get a platform and it’s not like he ever had any respect for Trump.
Not necessarily. The media/left blasted him mercilessly during his two terms ... especially the 2nd. He never contested them on any of it ... just rolled with the punches.
What he thinks or does is really of no import to me. Any respect I may have had for him was lost when he backed Biden by PUBLICALLY announcing he could not ever vote for Trump. He sure managed to find a pulpit for that.
This asshole is “concerned” about the redistricting taking a few black (”BLUE”) voters out of French Hill’s district to shore it up. He’s gonna let the maps pass without his signature rather than veto it though because he doesn’t want to commit complete political suicide. He’s doing the same with a bill that allows showing proof of natural immunity or getting testing 10000 times in place of being forced to get the “jab”.
What a piece of RINO garbage.
That’s mighty White of him.
Personally, I don’t like the congressional redistricting map approved by the Arkansas legislature. It splits Little Rock’s Pulaski County three ways while improving the GOP vote percentage in the AR-02 only marginally. Hutchinson had warned against splitting Pulaski three ways and presumably doesn’t want his name attached to such plan. What AR Republicans should have done is attach Pulaski to the most heavily Republican suburban and rural counties in the vicinity and in the northern tier of the state (avoiding, e.g., Faulkner County), which would have improved the Trump percentage in the AR-02 by much more than in the approved plan while eliminating the argument that Republicans “split Little Rock three ways to dilute the black vote.” The AR-02 is not a VRA district, and I don’t believe that the Pulaski precincts placed in adjoining CDs are heavily black (or even within the Little Rock city limits), but I consider the new AR congressional map both a missed opportunity and an unforced error.
