AR Gov. Hutchinson: Bush Comparing Capitol Protesters to Islamic Terrorists ‘Words of Wisdom’
Breitbart ^ | 09/12/2021 | Pam Key

Posted on 09/12/2021 1:22:41 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President George W. Bush’s comments comparing the January 6 Capitol protesters to the Islamic terrorists were “words of wisdom.”

During his speech at the 9/11 memorial service for Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, Bush said, “There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. Then there is disdainful pluralism in their disdain for human life. In their determination to defile national symbols they are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

It’s hard to believe people this STUPID can be elected to anything.

It’s truly horrifying how defunct of any morals or common sense they really are.

Complete dirtbags the 2 of them.

It was perfectly OK for left-wing activists to try to disrupt the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh, but peacefully to protest a fraudulent election is like killing 3000 people?

When I was 8 or 9 years old my parents took us inside the Capitol. I didn't know we were defiling a symbol of the nation by being inside.

My question precisely. He could just as easily have been referring to antifa and BLM.

What can be sensed in both of them is some “coaching” and teaching from religion types who say idiotic things in detriment to Christianity. The “let’s let the muslims use our church” or “our National CathedraL in DC” crowd of ministers.

No sense of the TRUTH of islam, as Robert Spencer has made known. There is no equalization possible, they are not both “good”. Christianity is a religion of peace. Islam is one of death and pagan devils.

I don’t know who Bush was speechifying about, and he probably didn’t write those goobledegook words, but he ain’t talking about me.

Most cultures that are capable of thinking for themselves reads this and understands this is the definitive explanation of the left wing BLM movement. In today’s culturally repressive America, it defines trespassers invited into the Capitol by uniformed officers.

Bush did not directly mention the Jan 6 protestors. FWIW, there are violent extremists is the country … on both extreme sides. Look at the riots that burned down cities. Look at the “autonomous zones” that have turned into lawless cesspools. Now, I’d wager that the most violent of domestic extremists are overwhelmingly on the left, but we lie to ourselves if we say there are none on the extreme right.

I don’t get this. The quote is:

“There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. Then there is disdainful pluralism in their disdain for human life. In their determination to defile national symbols they are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

When I first saw this I thought he was talking about Antifa, BLM, and the people tearing down statutes and burning stuff. It didn’t occur to me that he was speaking about the protests on Jan 6.

When I listened to it again just now, I saw no reason to think he was speaking about the Jan 6 protests and not Antifa and so forth.

Why do so many think he’s talking about the Jan 6 Protest?

When is Ass Hutchinson up for re-election? I know I am already rooting for terminal cancer when it comes to that quisling.

WHAT?!?!?!? Is it just me or is every politician, or ex-president, setting us up? The first sign of any alleged domestic terrorism, and next thing you know all conservatives, Christians, or anyone else who speaks out against this regime will be rounded up and sent to concentration camps.

Geez, this renews my desire to find an island out in the Pacific somewhere and watch America burn from afar. I'm getting so sick of things here.

This is deliberately ambiguous. The media claims he is definitely speaking about January 6, but it could actually be applied to the BLM/Antifa rioters.

What seems to make the distinction for me is who Bush vocally vilifies in public, and I do not recall him being particularly vocal against BLM/Antifa but very much down on Trump supporters (who were not particularly involved in January 6, but BLM/Antifa were themselves).

Wonder who wrote this for him.

Just ponder for a moment how depraved and morally bankrupt a person must be before ever making a statement like this! Ass Hutchinson is a glaring example of the Enemy Within.
