Some staffers in the Biden White House would rather miss their boss speak in public than endure another gaffe, according to a new report.
Anxiety about what President Joe Biden might say if he takes questions from the media drives some in the White House to mute him or turn off his public appearances altogether, Politico reported Tuesday, citing White House officials.
Anxiety about what President Joe Biden might say if he takes questions from the media drives some in the White House to mute him or turn off his public appearances altogether, Politico reported Tuesday, citing White House officials.
“I know people who habitually don’t watch it live for that reason,” an unnamed official told the outlet for the report, which focused on occasions when he strays from messaging crafted by the West Wing.
The Washington Examiner reached out to the White House for comment.
On Tuesday, Biden asserted during a briefing about the damage incurred from Hurricane Ida that tornadoes are called something else now.
"The members of Congress know, from their colleagues in Congress, that, uh, you know, the, looks like a tornado, they don't call them that anymore, that hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country, in Iowa and Nevada. It's just across the board," Biden said at a press conference in New Jersey.

Drip.....drip.....drip.....
No matter how much the Biden Democrats wish it, this problem is not magically going to go away for them
I will be very surprised if he goes to 9 11 ceremonies.
“Anyway, about my washtub. I just used it that morning to wash my turkey which in those days was known as a ‘walking bird.’ We’d always have walking bird on Thanksgiving, with all the trimmings. Cranberries, ‘injun eyes,’ and yams stuffed with gunpowder. Then we’d all watch football, which in those days was called ‘baseball.’”

Biden just needs a translator.
Iowa and Nebraska is what he meant and the new term for the inland hurricane is derecho. That is different than a tornado so yes he is very confused at best and probably totally confused.
He needs to go to his fallback phrase, “You know, the thing.”
These coward scum know that their boss is not competent to run the country. Yet they continue to collect their public paychecks and just snipe from the shadows
The staff doesn’t need to be concerned. The mainstream media ignores most of Biden’s gaffes anyway. How many Americans remember him calling one of his supporters a “lyin’ dog-face pony soldier” last year?
Derecho, Joe, derecho
Skilled operators can usually extract enough snippets to make anybody sounded fool. Especially Pres. Trump was target of this.
But Biden is natural. I heard an German TV Biden talking with Merkel. Kind of long discussion. They did not pointed out to anything, it was not some cut out snippets.
Yet even then Biden sounded like he does not know what is he talking about. This actually was quite convincing to me that we have an Alzheimer president.
If I’m not mistaken. that was when he was at the top of his game?
It’s been downhill ever since.
.
It’s clearly Alzheimer’s.
There are zero questions from the networks, even though he says outlandish things twice a day.
.
Reminds me of the “Airplane” movie where the signing interpreter rolls his eyes and makes a masturbating motion.
If this is no longer called a tornado, then what (on Heaven’s green Earth) do ‘they’ call it now? A whirligig, twister, Devil’s wind, or a perverted old man attempting to clean up after himself? This so called human lacks the use of language skills which grows more apparent each day.
As we cover our laughing lips, pointing accusing fingers, let us be thankful for his interpreters who claim to understand his unusual expressions of reality.
“Sorry about that, Chief”
When did they change the name of tornadoes?
They might have to jumpstart Hillarys old van for early extraction.
