The Biden administration asked Congress on Tuesday for at least $24 billion in disaster relief and urged swift passage of a short-term funding bill as a government shutdown looms at the end of September.
White House Office of Management and Budget Acting Director Shalanda Young requested "urgent" spending in a blog post to respond to natural disasters and the relocation of Afghans who partnered with the US during the war in Afghanistan. Specifically, the administration is asking Congress for $14 billion for natural disasters that occurred before Hurricane Ida, $6.4 billion for the Afghan relocation, and it anticipates another $10 million will be approved for Hurricane Ida....

A government shutdown sounds like a good idea to me.
They need some mad money.
With Biden and Harris, the most powerful wing of our government
has been shut down since January 20th.
It could be argued, only negative governance oozes out.
That would be true.
This time last year we had a real President.
Good times.
hey “a@@wipe” JoeBama— why don’t you take the money out of the 89 BILLION in US military hardware your stupid willful thieves in your admin LEFT BEHIND to the Taliban? Try that you stupid SOB. Every state you want to troll this with has NOT used up the pandemic assistance money Trump got them— in the first place.
Go back the basement put on 3 masks and duct tape over your fake toothed mouth and inappropriate “joker” constant smiling— and shut the hell up!
This administration is searching for any revenue flow they can get their hands on that requires distribution......easy pickings for fraud and theft. They need it badly.
They are looking for walking around money.
Like the new “Plastic’s Tax”...
That stench of burning flatulence people smell is the democrat party and news media standing on the third rail.
The Debacle List
Afghanistan
Border
Spending bill
Lies
China
Man, I thought my wife had a hard time staying on budget. But this is just getting scary.
Like Biden really gives a s****
Just say Hell No.
Besides…..the govt never shuts down. Right Joe Joe.
No stinking afghans until EVERY AMERICAN IS BROUGHT HOME ..FIRST!!!!
50,000 Afghans to come here....
$6.4 BILLION
==$128,000 EACH
Mad Money? That’s in those two Bills he wants Congress to pass. You know, the one’s THEY and WE can’t afford.
Yup, The Big Guy is drawing moar than 10%
Maybe we should all just go on strike, stop the forced taxation or payrolls and go on freaking strike.
This administration doesn’t deserve on friggin’ dime more from the American worker or businesses.
The only way we stop any of this is to stop the flow of tax revenues to the federal government.
Even then they will just print up what they need believing we will eventually be forced to pay via the IRS.
But really they need to hang their heads in utter shame and humiliation for what they have done in 8 months. They need to be shown the exit door of the White House and not have it hit them in the backside as they leave.
It all needs to stop. I am grateful we had the greatest economy when Covid hit. We are a profitable people and able to care for our own. But these folks in DC right now have no idea what they are doing or they do know and it is treason of the most insidious nature.
Saying HELL NO.
Now where is a military family I can support during the shutdown. We all would need to adopt a family for a few weeks and send that invoice to Joe Biden and the IRS.
