Ontario County (NY) says he will not resign amid pressure from Board of Supervisors chair

Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson says he’s being pressured to resign, claiming that County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Marren asked him to quit under threat of retaliation.
What exactly started all this remains unclear.
The sheriff only stated this is regarding his office’s handling on internal matter, adding his undersheriff has voluntarily resigned.

Oh there is a culmination of things happening and it will be revealed. We already had a county administrator walked less than 2 years ago and now the Sheriff finds himself in hot water.

The sheriff is elected and potentially has more power in his district than the President and Congress.
No one's ever done it, but he can allow a felon to own and possess a gun in his district ... over riding the GCA1968
