A mother in Las Vegas has called for a substitute teacher’s resignation after the woman allegedly taped masks onto children’s faces in a fourth-grade classroom.
Speaking with KVVU-TV, the mother, who wished not to be identified, said she was “furious” after her she learned of what happened to her 9-year-old son at Reedom Elementary School in Mountain’s Edge.
“I was furious, furious. I was scared for my son on what kind of long-term effect it is going to have on him socially, the fact that the entire class was laughing,” she said.
The moment allegedly happened. The mother said:
He went to get a sip of water, forgot to put the mask on. The teacher did not tell him to put it back on or send him to the office, she instead pulled him up in front of the classroom in front of all of the students and she then taped the mask across the top of his face.
The boy later went to the office to pick up homework where an administrator noticed the tape on his forehead and alerted the principal.
The mom said the sub added a second layer of tape from his nose to his forehead, and with the tape still on his face, he went to the office to pick up homework he’d forgotten at home and his dad had dropped off.

That teacher would be looking in the ground for missing teeth.

Lucky the kid didn’t have an attack of asthma, or anxiety
Perhaps the indoctrinator should be subjected to the same treatment. “I can’t breeve!”
Time to start stacking.
Lol!!
ONE Mother???? ONE Mother??? Good GOD, what has happened to parents today?? It should be ALL THE MOTHERS!
Thinking of 60 years ago being passive aggressive and having my mask “fall” off. Would surely have happened. With it taped tothe sides I might have slipped it up to cover my eyes. I really liked Mrs. Sharp so wouldn’t have been too bad.
If that was my kid, the wrath of hell would be on that school. Unfortunately, I believe that most parents today are such pussies that they’ll accept this as a judgement in error and let it slide.
Just kidding!
There needs to be a serious sorting out of teachers and the liminate the scum that has infested the profession. The first thing that needs to be done is states must pass a law that forbids deducting union dues etc from paychecks. Let the teachers pay the unions each month with a personal check.
That substitute is paedorouthoúniphobic!
(Irrational fear of children’s nostrils)
Schools send your kids to the shrink and to the organ slicer without telling you. They teach sex and its various perversions to 6 year-olds. So it’s no surprise that they would physically force a mask onto a kid.
Schools are part of the government. So it’s government that’s doing all those things. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows that.
You entrust your kids to the government so you can go to work to pay outrageous taxes that educate your kids. You can’t be in the school to watch what they are doing to your kids.
The government has failed that trust, as it has failed most other trusts that they have.
This is so easy to solve.
Cameras. Viewable by parents.
First day of school where I am and stopped behind a school bus. About twenty little kids had the face diapers on as the mask less parents happily watched. I am watching pure societal insanity.
If that teacher is that frightened she needs to stay home and get counseling...
I’d like to pull a pair of my underwear out of the bottom of the dirty clothes hamper and tape those on that teacher’s face for a day.
Spend a few minutes watching recent school board meetings and city council meetings and you might have a different opinion. You might just be proud of these parents.
Now that’s what I’m talking about. Generous us of 100mph tape is indicated.
Bingo. Assault, arrest, trial, sentencing, loss of teaching license. etc.
