you know they give out narcotics and clean needles to the the bums and addicts because they think "if they're going to use it anyway, why not provide it safely"....

so why as citizens are we not allowed to have PILLS prescribed to us?....why must we buy paste from the feed store?...

why is this a story?
To scare people by grouping human prescription grade Ivermectin with animal dewormer medicine.

Any pet store has lots of otherwise prescription meds for fish, dogs, cats. etc.

If you're dying try the ER, otherwise get a human IVM 'scrip.

Pet meds are not as strictly controlled as human meds.

BTW I've heard that STROMECTOL is just generic IVM.

DuckDuckGo it. Seems to be out there - 'scrip free. ;-)

Last few days I’ve been seeing more and more “anti-Ivermectin” type articles. Lots of FUD. Seems some people really want to put people off, keep them from trying something. Lots of “it’s dangerous” or “it’s un-proven” etc. Pure FUD - it’s only been around 40+ years and had over a billion doses produced...

Right and who knows what really caused a mild symptom? Spoiled milk?

I would ask anyone, if they don’t know anyone in India, to do some research on the 60-something yr old woman in Buffalo, NY. In a coma. Family sued twice. She got her ivermectin. Walked out of the hospital.

Is it the end all, be all? Don’t know.

Does it work? It would appear so.

Did Indian doctors develop a treatment, ZIVERDO Pack that cost $2.95? Yes.

They start putting ZIVERDO Packs out there, Blackrock & Vanguard are going to lose lots of money.

Ivermectin is available by prescription at Walgreens via Goodrx for $34.00; 20 tabs @ 3mg each. Enough for a 6 day prophylaxis.

I smell fear.

Yeah, the same fear smelled by Fauxi and the Fat Cats running the pharma industry. Ivermectin, HCQ, and NAC are proving the "vaccine*" is less effective than those drugs.

For weeks we read of the pandemic in India, especially with the delta variant. Then, all of a sudden, the news stopped with little explanation. The reason: smart folks in India discovered that Ivermectin has the ability to stop COVID-19 dead in it's tracks. CCP virus illness dropped like a stone, thanks to Ivermectin.

Studies were done and supressed.

*Actually, it's not a vaccine. It's an experimental gene therapy that has killed many people. See tag.

Thanks NoLibZone: Author links to a bulletin from the Mississippi State Department of Health that indicates zero, no, none hospitalized due to Ivermectin overdosing.

“”ERs reportedly ‘filling with people’ overdosing on unproven drug””

One can say that a 5-gallon pail under a 1-drip per minute leak is ‘filling with water’. But it is NOT an immediate cause for alarm.

A little context/perspective goes a long way when parsing headlines!

Thanks!

0.2mg/kg for preventative and double or triple for treatment.

Good to know I got my math right but I calculated for 0.2mg/kg and 0.4mg/kg. The same strength and tube size as the Apple flavored stuff and it worked out to be 1 horse pound = 1 human pound for the 0.2mg/kg dose and 2 horse pounds = 1 human pound for 0.4mg/kg.

Suppose I weigh 200 lbs. Since there are 2.2 lbs/kg, I divide 200 by 2.2 to get 90.9 kg. Since the protocol calls for 0.3mg/kg, I multiply 90.9 times 0.3 to get 27.3 mg of ivermectin needed for one dose. Now, on to find out how many milligrams of ivermectin a tube of equine apple-flavored paste contains. The box says that the paste has 1.87% ivermectin, and that the tube weighs 6.08g. Convert 6.08 grams to milligrams by multiplying by 1000, or 6080 milligrams. 1.87% of the 6080 mg is ivermectin, or 0.0187(6080), which yields 113.7 mg of ivermectin per tube. The 200 lb person needs a dose of 27.3 mg, so dividing 113.7 by 27.3 gives us 4.2 doses per tube. That’s a little over 4 doses per tube, which is super cheap!! I saw chewy was selling a tube for $4.99. Can you believe that? a buck and a quarter per dose. Dr. Merritt confirmed that this is correct.

His 200lb = 90.9kg x 0.2 = 18.18 and the 113.6/18.18 = 6.24 doses per tube. The tube does a 1250lb horse 1250/200lb = 6.25

At 0.4mg/kg, he'd dial in 400lbs and get 3ish doses per tube.

Since I happen to weigh 125lbs and most tubes will dose a 1250lb horse, the 1:1 pound ratio for preventative jumped right out at me. 10 doses per tube for me or 5 doses at the 0.4mg/kg. FLCCC also says a treatment course is 5 days so 1 tube will do for me. Kinda handy.

I really don't think I'll need it but I can use it for the goats or LGDs as a dewormer. My wife's been around co-workers who had covid and either she hasn't brought it home or we're immune. We haven't had a flu or cold in years. I hope all these stories doesn't make it so that you can only get ivermectin from a vet. I like to rotate dewormers so that the parasites are less apt to become resistant and that will be one less I'd have for the rotation or will triple the price and make it harder to find. All the local feed stores have it as of now.

This reminds me of the thing where a wife fed fish tank cleaner to her husband (who died) because it had cloroquin in it and the MSM ran stories blaming Trump.

If it’s unproven then why is the CDC recommending giving it to refugees entering the US?

However, more studies show it has little to no effect when it comes to treating COVID-19.

These assholes should ask themselves why large numbers of people are getting Ivermectin. Could it be that these “journalists” are too lazy to see and hear the numerous studies that Ivermectin works?

We’re surrounded by morons.

FWIW, Ivermectin is mentioned 49 times in that document from the CDC. COVID is mentioned zero times.

Since the dosage rate per pound is the same for both humans and horses, couldn’t you just divide your weight by 1250 to determine the number of doses in a tube?
