Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) charged Tuesday that the Biden administration was not being truthful about several aspects of the evacuation of Afghanistan — including the number of US citizens left behind.
“He knew that we were going to leave Americans behind, and I think he lied to us,” Graham told Fox News’ Sean Hannity of President Biden.
“I think there are hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans left behind,” the senator added, “[and] tens of thousands of Afghans.”
The White House has not yet provided an exact count of either the number of US citizens who were flown out of Afghanistan during the withdrawal operation, nor the exact number who remain in Taliban-controlled territory

Preaching to the choir again I see.
Leave the Afghans in Afghanistan, plain and simple, that goes for those who are duel citizens.
I hope more and more senators and reps will at least start speaking out about this. The rest of the GOP isn’t even saying anything, let alone doing anything.
The media wants everybody to let it go and pretend it never happened. After all, it was four or five days ago, wasn’t it?
Everybody has got to keep declaring the truth, and then hopefully they will gather enough steam (and support) to move ahead with impeachment or the 25th amendment.
My problem with the 25th is that it lets his incompetence, treasonous supporters in the upper ranks of the military and his administration get off without responsibility.
All politicians do this crap. They "identify" a problem, typically an obvious problem. Then walk away like Biden from a press conference.
Graham knows there are far more than “hundreds”. I’ve seen reports of 30k and 40k, with those since evacuated only in the low thousands.
Why doesn’t he come forward with evidence and actually make a good point? Just political lip service in my opinion.
I’m sure he’s right.

Another poster child to the reason why the 17th Amendment should be repealed ! Term limits would be helpful but doesn’t strike sufficiently at the root cause - the states as an entity have no effective representation ! The passage of that amendment was a very damaging blow to the federal system. It turned the States into a facsimile of European provinces.
