My understanding is a lot of latinos have moved into New Orleans since Katrina, so they haven’t been through a hurricane before.
I think the bus driving kid was a kid...not old enough to drive but figured it out and rescued people.
Well, that’s a given, of course.
People can walk out of the city, if they have to. They can be upwards of 240 miles inland in four days, if that’s what they have to do.
