Ida became a tropical storm over the West-Central Caribbean Sea. Initial forecast model guidance predicts landfall as a hurricane in the North-Central Gulf of Mexico.

Remember, Harvey hit in the coastal bend, Rockport area, then backed up in the gulf then hit Houston and Beaumont a couple of days later.

Katrina came ashore as an F3.
It was the storm surge that decimated Pass Christian.
And it was 25 years of Democrat grift that permitted the entire Federal levee system to deteroriate on the lower Mississippi.
It is a certainty that certain people who knew how to fail the 9th Ward levees, did not hesitate in their mission.
I do not welcome this return trip but I do not doubt history will repeat.
