The U.S. ambassador in Kabul has told staff there that four U.S. Marines were killed in an explosion at the city’s airport and three wounded, a U.S. official with knowledge of the briefing said. Two explosions ripped through crowds of Afghans trying to enter the airport on Thursday.
At least three U.S. troops were injured, a U.S. official said. Witnesses reported multiple fatalities among the Afghans, many of whom were trying to enter the airport because they had assisted U.S.-led coalition efforts and feared persecution by the Taliban.

It's been confirmed by DOD that four US Marines were killed. Please provide SPECIFIC evidence that it is not US Marines. Otherwise, you're just jackassin' and using Marines as props.

Unspeakable that Biden would postpone his presser on Afghanistan two days ago to wait to announce a House spending bill, unspeakable disgrace. Then laughing at this yesterday to a reporter question.
Yeah but this is Biden, who needs to get his butt wiped..he doesn’t care..the bigger picture was having him declare “Victory” on September 11th, so it would help him politically, and also to bring in as many Afghans as possible, import them into swing states, and turn them blue

The simplest course of action for any American is to stay the hell out of the military forces of a government as corrupt and fouled up as ours. How hard is that? And yet even that simple step is apparently beyond a lot of people right here on FR.

I think that’s it. The Taliban has no central command structure as would be found in a modern army. They are nothing more than a band of savages held together by Islamic thought. So without a central command, if one guy decides to throw a bomb, he’s going to throw a bomb.
This all should have been known - and planned for - way ahead of time.
Senators now calling for action from Biden. It’s sad that we know Biden is demented and cannot handle this crisis.
At the very least they should have been in a defendable position at Bagram with locals handling the screening. This is malpractice and murder. Heads need to roll.
