Dozens of California students and parents are stranded in Afghanistan after taking a summer trip to the country.
More than 20 students and 16 parents from the Cajon Valley Union School District in El Cajon, Calif., visited Afghanistan on summer vacation. Now they are among thousands of people who are waiting to leave the country amid the chaotic U.S. withdrawal that has caused political unrest across the nation, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Cajon Valley Superintendent David Miyashiro alerted school board members on Tuesday that he would be meeting with Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) to discuss the situation, the Times noted.
“I wonder how many voted for Xiden.”
Californians? All of them, and most of them several times.
Because of Hawaii COVID rules it was too difficult to go to Maui. So it was either Afghanistan or N. Korea. Maybe they should have chosen to go see Kim.

I know it was pretty near the top of my list of vacation spots. Unfortunately there were no timeshare swaps available. Or, WTF! were they thinking? Not I guess.

You might be onto something. Here in the insane west coast the state of Washington has de facto legalized all drugs and many of the public colleges offer courses on Marijuana production. Can Poppy Cultivation 101 be far behind? These fools thought they could be trailblazers and would become US poppy moguls.

WTF. This bizarre statement reminds me of the Roan Atkinson skit in which the headmaster calls a parent in to discuss his boy's bad behavior, and then blurts out "Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that your son is dead, I'd have him expelled."
And the father screams "What???"
To which the headmaster responds: "You heard me: Expelled!"
