Also, the two people in line for the presidency as immediate successors, Harris and Pelosi, have been as far away as possible from DC. And Biden himself seems to leave town ASAP, and actually is probably giving some of his “addresses” from Delaware.
I think they’re terrified of some threat to DC, and I doubt you’ll see Kamala back until she absolutely has to return.
