AUSTIN — Three Democrats broke ranks and returned to the Texas House on Thursday, giving Republicans enough members needed to resume work on a controversial elections bill and ending a weeks-long standoff.
A silence fell over the chamber as Houston Reps. Garnet Coleman, Armando Walle and Ana Hernandez walked into the chamber together. In a statement, the three said they were proud of the work they had done to bring the “fight for voting rights” to Washington D.C.
“Now, we continue the fight on the House Floor,” they said.
Their presence shocked many in their own party, who just hours earlier were still convinced they could upend Gov. Greg Abbott’s second special session by continuing their boycott.
Since mid-July, a majority of House Democrats had refused to come to the Capitol in protest of the elections bill they decry as voter suppression. Their absence forced work to grind to a halt, since the House cannot conduct business without a quorum…

Not for these 3. They need to be given the Texas Medal of Honor, just to STICK IT IN THE FACE of the rest of the Democrats.
The arrest would only have escorted them back to the capital buildings.
They need to be put in jail for the next six months or so and forfeit their seats.
Once they get the Election Bill passed that will be the end of “turn Texas blue.”
Cheating on the scale necessary to do that will not be possible.

most of our supreme court should hide their heads in shame for allowing this to happen without at least looking at teh evidence of a stolen election...their status just took a big hit also. lets not forget them, they had a chance to right a wrong and didn’t even take a looksee.
..... I believe Alen West, who is running for Governor of the fine state of Texas, has the best idea ..... They all Abandoned their Positions and posts, and therefore ALL should be summarily removed from office and a Special Ellection held to replace them ........ Fully agree. These McConnell picked SCOTUS for Trump appear to be RINO’s. Can’t be trusted to be honest or have integrity.
The legislature should change the law so this stunt would be an instant removal from office.
The SCOTUS shall henceforth be referred to as “The Supine Court of the US.
